Rev. Dee Dee Azhikakath, Campus Minister

Rev. Dee Dee Azhikakath is an ordained elder in the United Methodist Church. She has served churches here in Tucson, England and in Princeton, NJ. Besides campus ministry, she loves to travel – 49 states & 29 countries so far! She attributes her travel bug to her father who traveled the world before becoming a US citizen back in 1965, and her adventuresome spirit that drives her to try new things…. That and, she was born and raised in Las Vegas where she got use to "seeing the world" on one street.

If Dee Dee is hanging out locally, you will probably find her at a movie theater, a concert or some new restaurant in town – she loves movies, music and great food.

In May 2006 Dee Dee altered her life at the altar when she got married to Mike, who owns Vertigrate, Inc, an IT consulting company in town. He shares in her passions and travels even more than she does, and of course keeps her in front of the technology curve.

Get to know her more by dropping by her office at the Christian Campus Center (corner of Park and University), or contact her by email at deedee@email.arizona.edu, calling her at 623-7575 x15, or check out her Facebook. You can also hear more from Dee Dee by listening to her latest sermon by subscribing to her podcast.
